TEMPORARY WORK PERMIT
This program is designed to allow the hiring of foreign workers in two different segments: LMIA (Labour Market Impact Assessment) required and LMIA exempt positions. With this permit you can work for a specific employer only and the employer must respect certain conditions. OPEN WORK PERMIT
With an open work permit you are free to find your employer as you prefer: you can work for any employer, in any occupation, at any location. This permit is available for individuals already legally working in Canada or who are in Canada under humanitarian and compassionate grounds, and their immediate family members: ask CK Immigration Services for more details.
CAREGIVER PROGRAM
The caregiver program (nannies, baby sitters, assistants for seniors) will give you secure work for two years, after which you can apply for permanent residence. Your work is regulated by a detailed contract signed before your arrival in Canada. You can choose between live-in and live-out accommodation and under certain conditions you can bring your family with you.
